Secure KVM and Ethernet Gateway
KVM Guard and EtherGuard provide a secure USB/VGA or ethernet connection between an on-line CPU (residing inside the IPS Container) and the keyboard, video and mouse and/or VTC terminal, VOSIP phone or network printer located on the desktop. KVM Guard and EtherGuard allow the user to quickly and securely connect to the classified network without removing devices from the IPS Container. The external link can only be activated from inside the IPS Container once an authorized user has dialed the lock combination. It's then deactivated from an external kill button with automatic time delayed disconnect if authorized user leaves the area.
Instant SIPRNet Access
The classified connection remains secured inside the IPS Container and on-line 24/7 eliminating rebooting, patch management and anti-virus update delays. Network administration can be performed during non operational hours. Disconnect occurs only between the CPU and external KVM/EtherNet devices.
Combined SIPRNet / NIPRNet
An optional secure switch allows user to switch safely between SIPR and NIPR computers using a single set of peripherals.
No PDS or EMT Required
Since the external cabling is only active when an authorized user is present, KVM Guard and EtherGuard eliminate the need for in-room PDS, conduit or lock boxes.
